it's new with an {old} look You may have seen part of it peeking out from under my new farmhouse table.
This chair was purchased new from Kmart for about $30.
It was originally bright turquoise which I dulled down with first primer and then flat olive green spray paint. Then I sanded a ton to make it look {old}.
I got the idea from The French Country Cottage and was so excited to finally find an affordable bistro chair.

ReplyDeleteI just today came to your blog via Funky Junk Interiors and am now one of your newest followers. I, too, bought the turquoise bistro chair (3 of them) from KMart. I had planned to paint them white but after seeing yours I'm not so sure - they came out great!
ReplyDeleteAwww!! Thanks for the mention!!! I just saw this today Michele when I saw your bistro chair in your header! I remember you left me a comment that you were going to pick some of these darling chairs up ~ I love how yours came out! Don't you just absolutely love these? Go Kmart!! :)
