Here's this weekends project: a chalkboard door. Actually I feel funny calling it a project since it only took about 30 minutes to complete, including drying time.
This is my pantry door which is in the mud room off of the gargage--the ideal place for a grocery list, job list or any kind of note you want to make sure everyone sees.
I added a metal drawer pull I painted turquoise then distressed--a perfect place to hold the chalk.

I really like it. Recently I bought some chalkboard paint to transform some old Silver Trays into Glam Chalkboards for the G-Kids that would match Gramma's Decor *I'm anal like that, winks*... however, since Princess T, age 5, gets into EVERYTHING, until I was ready to do the project I "hid" the Chalkboard Paint so she wouldn't get into it... apparently REALLY well... because now I can't find it! *le sigh* Ah well, back to the Craft Store I guess... *winks*
